Vacation Bible School, July 31st - August 3rd

We invite all kids ages 3 (potty trained) to upcoming grade 6 to join us for the Annual Ecumenical Vacation Bible School.  It is held from July 31- Aug 3rd at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.  Last year over 33% of participants were from our Catholic parishes of the Seymour area.  We are in need of volunteers too!  Hours can count as service hours for chord at graduation.  Attached is the registration form which can be mailed to church, dropped in the collection or dropped off at the parish offices at St. John's or Emmanuel Lutheran.  If you have any questions please contact Carolyn Reuter at 920-595-0077 or email at ssrmcreuter@gmail.com.  We hope to see a great representation of our parish families again this year!

2017 Bishop's Appeal: Inspiring Disciples

Inspiring Disciples through
The Bishop’s Appeal

Our Diocese is Inspiring Disciples by supporting people in need of Jesus’ love through the Bishop’s Appeal.
The Bishop’s Appeal helps train ministers who bring God’s love to those who are homebound, sick or hospitalized.  Children grow in their Faith through Religious Education programs and at Camp Tekakwitha. The Bishop’s Appeal also guides college students and adults through evangelization efforts and Adult Faith Formation programs.

Through the Bishop’s Appeal we help form and train ministers through the Emmaus formation program.  Many are called to be deacons or lay ministers.

All these people inspire disciples and all receive support through the Bishop’s Appeal.

Learn more about all the ministries the Bishop’s Appeal supports.  Please make a gift to the Bishop’s Appeal.  Help us inspire disciples.
